Volunteer info

Be Part of Something Bigger.

Iron Island is an international IPF-rules powerlifting competition hosted in Malta.

This is not just a competition — it is a community event designed to bring together athletes, referees, coaches and volunteers from different nations.

We are actively inviting volunteers from all countries to help us build an international platform and strengthen collaboration across federations.

Who Can Volunteer?

Volunteers are welcome from any national federation.

We invite individuals who believe they can contribute meaningfully, support the smooth running of an international competition, and share their knowledge within the powerlifting community.

Examples of roles include:

• Referee (international or national level)

• Technical Controller (TC)

• Spotter / Loader

• Score table & competition support

• Media-related roles (speaker, commentator, streaming support)

• Other relevant skills that contribute to the competition environment

If you have experience that you believe could add value to the event, we encourage you to apply.
